Shirley M. Fields (Perron)
WESTBOROUGH: Shirley M. (Perron) Fields, 92, formerly of 26 Blake St., Westborough, passed away Saturday July 8, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital. Her husband of 70 years, William R. Fields passed away in April 2017. Shirley was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved dancing, singing, family outings and being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She leaves a daughter, Bonnie Fields Britt of Westborough, three sons, David Fields of Westborough, Christopher Fields and his wife Jennifer of Westborough, William Fields and his wife JoAnne of Franklin, six grandchildren, Rachel Langlois, Andrew Britt, Brittany Fields, Cody Fields, Julie Fields, Eric Fields; two great-grandchildren Hudson and Archie Langlois. She was the sister of the late Albertine (Perron) Bissonette of Cape Canaveral, FL and Richard Perron of Northborough. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Albert J. and Dorothy M. (Bryant) Perron, raised in North Grafton and a graduate of Grafton High School. Shirley was a resident of Westborough for 65 years, she worked in the Westborough school cafeterias for many years and at Golden’s women’s clothing store in Westborough. Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center c/o Resident Activity Center 3 Lyman St. Westborough, MA 01581. All are welcome to gather with Shirley’s family Monday July 17th from 11:30am-12:30pm at Roney Funeral Home 152 Worcester St. N. Grafton MA 01536 followed by a prayer service at 12:30pm at the funeral home. She will then be laid to rest at Pine Grove Cemetery in Grafton.
