Francis P. Frederico
GRAFTON/MILLBURY: Francis P. “Fred” Frederico, 83, passed away surrounded by his family on April 26, 2017 after a brief illness. He leaves his wife of 57 years, Ann (Zalieckas) Frederico, his children Lisa Zuraw (Paul) and their children Elizabeth, Laura and Jonathan, Mark Frederico (Diane) and their children Nicholas, Michael, and Jenna, Gina Pariseau (Craig) and their children Alexandria, Jacquelyn, and Evan and Steven Frederico and his children Dominic and Sam and one great-grandchild,Ryan along with many nieces and nephews. His dog Brady was his faithful companion. He also leaves his brother Thomas Frederico and his wife Bonnie. He predeceased his other sibilings Robert, Martin and Ret. Col. Anna Frederico.
Fred was born April 8, 1934 in Worcester son of the late Anna L. (Sena) and Martin A. Frederico. His roots were in the Grafton Hill neighborhood in Worcester and then Grafton where he graduated from high school. His earliest days at work were alongside his father Martin where he helped with the family roofing business. Fred served proudly in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He had a 43 year career in the wine industry. Away from work Fred looked forward to spending time on family camping trips, coaching Millbury Senior League baseball, and playing cards and softball with friends. Recently his greatest joy was supporting his grandchildren at their athletic and other events. Fred also was a long-time member of the Knights of Columbus, the Greendale Men’s Club, and American Legion East Side Post 201 in Worcester. Please honor Fred with a memorial donation to Veterans Inc. 69 Grove St. Worcester, MA 01603. All are welcome to gather with Fred’s family Sunday April 30th from 4pm to 7pm at Roney Funeral Home 152 Worcester St. N. Grafton, MA 01536. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday May 1st at 11:00am at St. Mary’s Church 17 Waterville St. N. Grafton, MA 01536.
