GRAFTON: Elizabeth M. (Farrell) Lemaire, 92, passed away following an illness March 10, 2017. Her husband Raymond Lemaire predeceased her. Elizabeth is survived by her son Keith Lemaire and his wife Barbara, her grandchildren Matthew Lemaire, Tiffany Van Norman, and Troy and Kevin Lemaire, great-grandchildren Kassandra Van Norman, Dylan Lemaire and Ayla Lemaire, her brother David Farrell and his wife Inez, sister-in-law Rita Farrell, daughter-in-law Donna Lemaire and many nieces and nephews. Elizabeth was also predeceased by her son Eugene Lemaire, daughter Sandra Rourke and son-in-law William Rourke. Elizabeth was born October 6, 1924 in Portland, Maine daughter of the late Lillian (McCormick) and William Farrell. She grew up in Maine and moved to Massachusetts with her husband Raymond where they raised their family. Elizabeth was happiest when surrounded by family at holiday gatherings, particularly their annual 4th of July clambake, was always looking for an open seat at a bingo game or at the casino in Connecticut and she had many prized memories traveling internationally to Ireland and closer to home camping on Lake Sebago in Maine. All are welcome to join her family Thursday March 16th from 10-11am at Roney Funeral Home 152 Worcester St. N. Grafton, MA 01536 followed by a prayer service at 11am in the funeral home. She will then be laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery in South Grafton. Please honor Elizabeth with a donation to a favorite charity in lieu of flowers.
