Julita was born in the Philippines and came to the United States in 1980. She was a long time member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Worcester and a member of the Wesley Choir where she sang for many years. She volunteered her time at the Age Center Inc. in Worcester where she became a senior companion and also volunteered at the Adult Day Care Center in Worcester where she was recognized for her many achievements. Her greatest joy in life was cooking Filipino food for her family and friends with her most memorable meals coming every Sunday after Church where her family would gather together with her to talk, laugh, and be grateful for one another. Over the years she enjoyed traveling with her family especially with her daughter Gloria and husband Jorge to attend many occasions and family events. Most of all her devotion to her family, her faith in God, and singing to music leaves a legacy of love, faith, and joy. Her kindness and smile will remain in our hearts forever.

Her family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of the 6th floor intensive care unit at UMass Medical Center and all of the extended family and friends for their support in her final days with us.
