GRAFTON: Nancy L. Merrow, 69, passed away suddenly after being stricken ill at home on February 8, 2017. She is survived by her brothers Thomas Merrow and his wife Elaine and Henry Merrow, her sister Mary Lou Woodruff, sister-in-law Joyce Merrow, her partner Ethel Raymond, dear friends Ruth McNeil and Diane Peterson and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Donald, Kenneth, Robert, Eugene, George and Richard Merrow and her sister Betty Chartier. Nancy was born February 10, 1947 in Rutland, Vermont, daughter of the late Viola (Wells) and Harry Merrow. Her roots were in the Londonderry area and she moved to Westborough, MA when she was still in her teens. For many years her home was in Grafton. Nancy worked throughout her life, often taking care of others, but it wasn’t work that defined her. Nancy treasured time with her family and many friends above all else. If you were to visit with her, especially during the holidays you were likely to leave with a plate of homemade cookies or pumpkin bread. She found peace in life’s simple things and could often be found outside walking around her neighborhood in South Grafton.
