Karen P. Niddrie
Karen P. (Peterson) Niddrie, 72, passed away at Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester following an illness on May 26, 2015. She leaves her husband of 37 years, James "Jim" Niddrie, her sisters Martha Day and Cindy Fleming and several nieces and nephews. Karen was born December 21, 1942 in Worcester, daughter of the late Gladys (Lious) and Roy Peterson. Her roots were in Grafton where she grew up and graduated high school and she also lived in Worcester for many years with her husband Jim. Karen worked at Glavin Regional Center in Shrewsbury for more than 25 years where she built many close friendships. Life's greatest happiness for Karen was always close to home, however. Holiday dinners that brought her family together where she could cook and bake for them meant more than anything else to her. All are welcome to join Karen's family Monday June 1st from 5pm to 7pm at Roney Funeral Home 152 Worcester St. N. Grafton, MA 01536. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday June 2nd at 11:00am at St. Phillip Church 12 West St. Grafton, MA 01519. Burial will be private at her family's convenience.
