John N. Ouellette
John N. Ouellette of Grafton, MA passed away May 10, 2015 at the age of 88. He was born October 18, 1926 in Worcester, MA to John and Florina (Moreau) Ouellette, both deceased. He was predeceased by his wife of 41 years, Lois (Morgan) Ouellette in 1995 and son, John, Jr. in 1996. He was also predeceased by two sisters, Edna L. Beaudoin and Irene S. Aiello, both formerly of Worcester. He is survived by five sons; James A., Mark S., Paul J., Richard L. all of Grafton and Neal M. of Millbury, MA as well as daughter Marie E. Towersey of Northbridge, MA and seven grandchildren. John graduated from North High School, Worcester in February, 1945 where he excelled in football and basketball for which he has been inducted into the Worcester Public Schools Athletic Hall of Fame. He is a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army Air Corps and Army from February, 1945 to January, 1947 which included one year with U.S. Occupation Forces in Japan. He subsequently attended Holy Cross College, Worcester from 1947 to 1951, receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree, Magna Cum Laude. John served as a Special Agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) from July, 1951 until retirement in July, 1977. He was assigned to offices in Detroit, Knoxville, New York City, Monterey, CA, Cleveland and Boston. He also served as Supervisor in the Domestic Intelligence Division at the F.B.I. Headquarters in Washington, DC. Upon retiring from the F.B.I., he was employed as a Manager of Security at Raytheon Company, Lexington, MA, producers of the Hawk and Patriot missiles. He served 3 years in Saudi Arabia and Egypt and subsequently at Raytheon facilities in Lexington, Bedford and Marlborough. He was a member of St. Philip's Church, Grafton, The Society of Former Special Agents of the FBI, the American Legion Post 462, Boston and the Holy Cross College Alumni Association. In lieu of flowers his family requests you honor John with memorial donations to St. Philip's Church 12 West St., Grafton, MA 01519. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated for John Saturday May 16th at 11:00am at St. Philip's Church in Grafton followed by burial with military honors at St. Philip Cemetery in Grafton.
