Obituary for
SUZANNE M. QUARANTA
NORTHBRIDGE - Suzanne M. ( Faford ) Quaranta, 74, passed peacefully with her family at her side Tuesday November 26, 2013 at The Lutheran Home from complications of Alzheimer's Disease. She leaves her devoted husband of 44 years Ralph Richard Quaranta; Her son Christopher Quaranta , his wife Sharon, their children Ryan and Alex; Her daughter, Nicole Quaranta; Her brother, Robert Faford and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Arthur and Lillian (Lovely) Faford and her brother Richard "Dickie" Faford a Worcester Firefighter who died in the line of duty in 1997. Sue was born in Worcester June 26, 1939, was raised and lived there until moving to Northbridge in 1974. She worked more than ten years at New England Telephone on Chestnut St. in Worcester. Family was everything to Sue; her greatest pleasures in life were her husband, children and particularly her grandsons. She was a faithful parishioner of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church and long time member of the Girl Scouts. Sue's husband and children wish to extend sincere thanks to the staff at Summit Eldercare, The Lutheran Home, and Bright Star, especially Chrissy and Natalie, for all their care and love to Sue during her times of need. Flowers may be sent or memorial donations made to the Alzheimer's Association, 480 Pleasant St. Watertown MA 02472 to help cure the disease that Sue fought so courageously.
MASS & CALLING HOURS
Calling hours to remember Sue and support her family are Sunday December 1st from 3 to 6 PM at The Roney Funeral Home, 152 Worcester St. in North Grafton. The celebration of her Funeral Mass will be Monday December 2nd at 10 AM at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, 39 Church Avenue in Northbridge. She will then be laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery in South Grafton. A personal book to offer condolences and share memories may be signed and directions are available at:
