Obituary for EVA K. QUAVA

Beloved Wife, Sister, Aunt

Eva K. Quava, also affectionately known as "CioCia" passed away on July 4, 2010 at the Mashpee Care & Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Frank Quava.

Eva was born April 13, 1910 in Bear Creek, PA, daughter of Simon and Catherine (Feduska) Klem. She was preceded in death by her brothers George, Charles, Peter, Michael and Stephen and sisters Anna Kearns, Mary Norris, and Christina Feduska. Surviving is her sister Theresa Champion of Centerville, MA, brother John Klem of Stroudsburg, PA, and over one hundred nieces and nephews.

Eva lived and worked in White Haven and Bath, PA most of her adult years. Upon retiring, she and her husband moved to Grafton, MA and lived with her sister and brother-in-law, Theresa and Bernard Champion. Her last few years were spent on Cape Cod at the Mashpee Care & Rehabilitation Center, where she was the president of the Resident's Council for the past four years.

She loved to cook, bake, hunt, fish, read, crochet and travel. Eva had no children, but her greatest joys in life were spending time with her family and taking care of her nieces and nephews. All of her family and friends dearly loved her. She always tried to make the world a better place for everyone.

Visiting hours will be held Wednesday July 7th from 5pm to 7pm at the Roney Funeral Home in Grafton, MA. Also, visiting hours will be held Sunday, July 11th from 5pm to 7pm at Joseph E Lehman Funeral Home in White Haven, PA. A Mass to celebrate her life will be at 9:30am on Monday, July 12th at St. Patrick's Church 411 Allegheny St. in White Haven, PA. Burial will follow at the St. Patrick's Cemetery in White Haven, PA.
